The 5th Pinch was born as a reminder of our divine-human spark that vibrates and connects with the rest of natural elements -water, fire, air and earth- while transforming them into a manifestation of our desired reality.

This is the harmonious and humble interplay that Lucia Rucabado -the artist- wants to infuse to her work. Bringing that awareness to the intimate relationship that is built between maker and piece while creating these infinite worlds of possibilities.

She started experimenting with clay as a medium of artistic expression in December 2019. Fascinated by the alchemical process of transformation she tunes into the collective imaginary and her personal journey to create a mix of functional and sculptural pieces using mostly her hands as a tool while learning different techniques and expanding her knowledge as a newcomer in the Ceramic World.
